Hi there... I´ve been reading the thread for a while, and the last post of Parag about the "old Javascript 101" course, drove me to browse those contents.
I´m a graphic designer and an (ever learning) web designer. Definitely I´ll make the queue for the next track, whether it will be available on the old or the new P2PU site.
Please, announce by these means or at p2pu site when the next track is available.
Thanks a lot Parag for your efforts. And Pippa too.
Mauro.

HI Pippa,
Sorry for replying late... had a ton of things to get under control over the weekend and yesterday :-)
From the old Javascript 101 course http://webcraftp2p.appspot.com/courses/course/javascript101p2pujanuary2011 we should be able to re-use some of the 'questions to ponder' weekly exercises, and some assignments. The study content was mainly Douglas Crockford videos, which have now been pulled down from Yahoo video (though they are still available for download). Also the feedback from many participants was not very good for some of the videos, so we should probably avoid them.
There is some stuff we can re-use from the JQuery Fundamantals book's Javascript section https://github.com/rmurphey/jqfundamentals
We can re-use some activities from WASP http://interact.webstandards.org/curriculum/front-end-development/dom-scripting-1?assign
Gemma (Maya) has some nice explanations for many Javascript concepts in the new Javascript course, which I am sure we can re-use.
I agree with the idea for starting a study group for defining a Javascript course. I believe the new Javascript study group is being actively used for the course, but Gemma is probably the right person to comment on that.

That's a great idea Philipp - I'm finding out from selfstudier and Parag about whether we use the Javascript 101 group that's already setup on new.p2pu.org

Rather than compile all this in an etherpad - why not set up a study
group that is "under construction" an which everyone can help build
out ... ?
