I also have my reservations about django template, but care to elaborate on
what parts about it you dislike?

As far as I know flask views is not that much different from django views.
We're not currently using class based views (we probably should) in django,
but I think they are even more similar to Flask views.

Flask allows you to use any template language that you choose, but then
again, you can always use something else with django.
