David,

I am CCing some "P2PU Central people" who can tell you about P2PU in general. Meanwhile, I will be happy to assist as far as School of the Mathematical Future is concerned.

This Spring, we ran a course in collaboration with Arcadia University, with 8 for-credit Arcadia students and around 50 non-credit students from all over the world. I will be happy to talk about the experience of this model, which may be useful for your grant. Also, let me know if you want to open or reuse some of other Math Future courses, together.

RFPs sure come short these days! The latest grant I am on had had all of 10 days from the time it came out to the deadline...

Cheers,
Dr. Maria Droujkova

Dr. Maria Droujkova,

I am the project manager for the Bridge to Success project and we are looking at applying for a Gates grant to support the creation of a developmental/remedial OER course that we are focusing on Mathematics. We are currently working with the OU, MIT and UMUC as we have already created two courses found on our website and hosted through the Open University (http://b2s.aacc.edu).

One of the requirements of this grant (with only about a one week turn around) is that this new course needs to be hosted on a well known and available MOOC. I am inquiring as to discussing the potential of partnering with P2PU and how we can promote the sustainability of not only this new course, but our two other courses we have also created entitled, Succeed with Math and Learning to Learn.

Your assistance and advice as to how P2PU could be helpful is greatly appreciated. The RFP for the grant only came out last Monday so we are working very quickly to look at our hosting possibilities.

Thanking you in advance for your prompt response.
