Like *Apocalypse Now*, but with more surfboards...

First off, big thanks to everyone who gave feedback and ideas for the
community call. I think we may have a winning plan on our hands, folks!

We knew we wanted the call to exist, in some form or another, in order
to tell the world about our work and make it easy for the community to
chime in, be transparent and feel like a team, but the old format just
wasn't doing it anymore. So, we've made some changes.

The time, dial-in details and documentation processes for the call will
stay the same (rapid change freaks me out) but the framing of the call will
change, as per the details below.

All these details have been updated in the P2PU events google calendar and
on the Community Call Etherpad (http://pad.p2pu.org/p/community-call) for
anyone who wants to check them out.

*1st and 3rd Thursday - General Progress Reports:*
Short calls, using the 4Ps and an I (Progress, Priorities, Problems,
Process, Ideas) format that the Tech Call uses. Anyone is welcome, staff
will be there for sure. Documentation process stays the same.

*2nd Thursday of every month - Seminar*
A longer discussion, in which research may be presented, guests talk to us,
Schools give us updates, special projects are discussed. All are welcome,
documentation will be shared, as well as any readings/videos/links
distributed before and after the call. Got an idea for a seminar call? Let
us know!

*Last Thursday of every month - All Hands. *
We work, for an hour, together, on something. It might be tagging or
de-spamming, writing static copy or dong course reviews. If you have
something to suggest for one of these sessions, let us know on the Etherpad.

Also, we're thinking about using a tool which worked well for us during the
Berlin office, and allowed us hang out more easily. HipChat (
https://p2pu.hipchat.com) has a web and a desktop/mobile app, logs
conversations and is pretty and easy to use. We'd love as many people as
possible to join this, it's just about the only way we ever know what
country Philipp is in....

Looking forward to seeing y'all in the HipChat soon.
