[p2pu-dev] Etherpad bought by google

This was a while ago. I believe they were acquired as a way to hire them
into Google rather than to get access to their products / customers. After
they got hired, synchronous editing features started popping up in Wave
(remember that!) and now Docs. There seems to be a relatively active open
source community that is keeping etheprad going though, which is great.
