Hi everyone
We recently decided that we want to try out github for issue tracking.
At the moment there aren't a lot of issues, but with time that may
change. I may migrate some of the tickets from lighthouse over to
github, but only if they are ready for implementation.
The idea is that any issue on github should be ready for
implementation (not necessarily easy) so that anyone can immediately
tackle the issue.
In the past we directed users with any problems to lighthouse. This
caused many tickets about unconfirmed bugs, duplicates and feature
requests. Since then we started using help.p2pu.org as the first line
of contact for users experiencing any problems. Bugs reported here
will be migrated to github once confirmed.
In the case of feature requests or bugs with deeper implications we
should discuss it on the mailing list. Both the community mailing list
(for feature requests) and the development mailing list (for technical
things).
Please send your feedback regarding this process. Our ultimate goal
with this is not to tell anyone how to do things, but rather to make
it easier for everyone to play the part they want.
Regards
Dirk
