October? More like Rocktober. We tore through yesterday's meeting like a
1980s hair band. And that's despite some of us being sick and many of us
being torn between 2 meetings.
So thanks to all the rockstars who were there, it was a great, short, sweet
little ballad of a community call.
As always, the notes, and chat transcript can be found on the etherpad:

New
York. (I'm in it as a participant.) Steve has developed a whole series of
excellent interactive videos just for this course. Not only is this content
top-rate, but this is a topic of great interest to anyone who does
multimedia content development.

*Cycles @ P2PU*
- What's the plan?
- Start with monthly cycles, beginning right after the workshop
- Some dev work need:
- Promotion via the blog/twitter/facebook/mailing lists
- Alison and John to talk and execute a plan.
- GOAL: Next cycle begins after the Berlin workshop with all of our
learning experiments featured.
Workshop
- Bekka is awesome and on top of everything
- Agenda stuff:
- http://pad.p2pu.org/workshop - learning experiments
- What is a Learning Experiment?
- could be a course, an idea, a learning plan, something you'd like to
try
- It should be something you are prepared and able to see thorugh to
completion
- the idea is that everyone should come to the workshop with something
concrete to DO.
- We'd like to get people to using the site, and pushing the boundaries
of the site capabilities.
- If we can build some of these at the workshop then we can leave with
concrete, completed mini-projects.
- How can we get people to contribute ideas for sessions?
- How can we make contact with free culture groups/open ed/people in
Berlin
- Template to share:
- Pippa
- Philipp
- Open Knowledge Foundation
- Michelle Thorne (Pretty swamped with festival planning)
