Hello,
This is a great presentation by Chris Williams, founder and organizer of
JSConf, about being positive in public and ending negativity:
http://jsconf.eu/2011/an_end_to_negativity.html
If you can spare 25 minutes to watch it, please do. We all love p2pu and
want it to succeed, and in many cases we have different ideas about how to
reach that success. I think the most important thing we can do for each
other, even when we completely disagree, is to support and remain positive
with each other. We all take risks putting code and ideas into the open;
negativity makes us all less likely to take these risks. To survive, we need
our community to feel as safe as possible taking these risks.
Thanks,
Brian
