[p2pu-dev] Testing BBB

Since the Google Dev Group is inactive I guess it's ok to send mails here.
(correct?)

 

I tested BBB with a coleague. I was particularily interested in screen
sharing.

 

While the image quality was really good, the framerate is really really slow
- I got something like 0.5fps at best :(

It kind of beats the purpose of screen sharing besides slide presentations
(which you can upload anyway).

 

Could it be because I created my own meeting using
http://p2pu-bbb.osuosl.org/bigbluebutton/demo/create.jsp ?

 

Well, another thing is that I'm pretty far away (Romania), but I guess other
people are too :)

 

The chat seems very responsive though.

I didn't test audio yet, but will let you know.
