[p2pu-dev] UX changes - Looks good, but maybe needs copy editing clarity :-)

I've just been looking at the sample mockups that Arlton's been
working on and it looks great. It really builds on the initial design
that Alex made for us in Barcelona and evolves the project look and
feel to be more mature.

One thing that doesn't seem to work for me is tightly communicating
peer learning and the user generated learning part of the project. As
the mock up places far more emphasis on the main text block and
doesn't have a "Start Your Own" or "Create" button.

"Learn anything, with your peers.
At P2PU, people work together to learn a particular topic by
completing tasks, assessing individual and group work, and providing
constructive feedback."

Without "Start Your Own" as a high profile button it's REALLY unclear
that users are in control of creating the subjects that are offered
and are responsible for each others experience.

I'm not sure if this a UX problem or some refining of the copy on the
front page. Granted - describing peer-learning and participatory
culture is pretty difficult to do in a tweet size chunk of text :-)
