It might not be a killer feature, however as I stated earlier, I can't imagine removing it completely. Perhaps we can make the feature something you "earn" - you have to have filled out your own profile and posted at least two forum messages or something to "unlock it"? :) <br>

Yep, they are particularly annoying!<br><br>Do you think a simple Bayesian classifier would catch these spam messages?<br><br>Another consideration is that direct messages haven't really been the killer feature on the site. I think up to this point Ali is responsible for most of those messages and the remaining 20% may very well be spam?<br>
