</div>Right now the organizers see less configuration options for the email<br>
notifications than the participants. Originally there was only one<br>
organizer and it made sense not to allow them ignore the participants.<br>
Now there can be several so the chances of having an scenario in which<br>
not all of them are in charge of keeping up to date about what is<br>
happening are bigger. Also, we can now handle functionality<br>
differences between courses vs. study groups (other kinds of learning<br>
projects are named differently -- organizer can provide a desc of the<br>
meaning of the other -- but work like a study group. at least until we<br>
identify a high demand in a particular kind of learning project) so we<br>
can even consider that in study groups there is no need to guarantee<br>
that at least one organizer is receiving all the updates, and have a<br>
different requirement for courses (maybe that not all of them can<br>
optout of email notifications at the same time).<br>

If a participant have both options uncheck and still receives<br>
notifications for things like someone posted a comment as<br>
NAME_OF_SOME_TASK then it is a bug.<br>
