Another detail came to my mind now, we could explore the breadcrumbs space to have a groups navigation menu (as there's no menu so the user doesnt know what resources he's able to use)

Agree with John to use the schools landing pages to explore branding opportunities.

I also thought now some other possibilities, as using the "Beta" tag Philipp commented to write the name of the school + different color scheme/whole different logo with same proportions for each school. Also thought of a small "badge" at the end of the heading I proposed which would be the Mozilla logo or the other partners logos (kind a "brought to you by..").

We can also explore the groups avatars to have some sort of half-opacity strip generated by the system that identifies that group as a "Mozilla Webcraft"', etc. Another important details would be to explore institutional colors of the brands as the colors of the headings (see mozilla.org's heading shade of red).

Definitely agree, school landing pages should have full on branding. Individual study groups should identify with the brand and link back to the main school page.

We need to set the standard with SoW and make sure we do it in a way to maximize benefit for P2PU and partners.
> IMHO school logos should be more like icons, very simple and unobtrusive

We have to find a balance between desire to keep UI/X simple, with
needs/desires of our schools partners. At least in the case of
Mozilla, strong branding is important to them - and probably also
conducive to the success of School of Webcraft.

At least mozilla word mark needs to show up somewhere, and ideally we
can come up with a great SoW logo that combines both P2PU and mozilla
branding.
