[p2pu-dev] Two way communication for notifications and messaging

Our SMTP is handled by SendGrid at the moment. They offer reliable and
cheap mail handling. If we increase volume it will make sense to set up our
own server in the future. SendGrid is a good solution for now. Google Apps
SMTP is also a fee-service at higher volumes.
