Hi Alison,
I also had fun with some mockups of the P2PU site previously. Some quick
thoughts

- if MyAccount is consolidated to one button, whcih I am happy with, it
seems to take up a huge amount of screen realestate to have it on it's own
line. Maybe move it somewhere else (I had proposed this earlier, but I think
some people thought my proposal was too crowded).

- I think random rotating things from showcase would be great on the
frontpage if we could do that.

- for calendar, we have a google calendar right now, whcih generates a
widget which we could insert there, with all the community calls, course
dates etc

- I don't think uservoice is very useful on the frontpage. Not convinced
OSQA is too useful on frontpage right now, but it might become.

I also wonder if we should have some direct links to stuff in the wiki from
the frontpage, there is so much amazing stuff, but I feel a lot of people
never discover it... Maybe a link dirctly to course organizers handbook
etc... Not sure. And maybe blog should also have links to P2PU_planet and
webcraft-planet.
