@Stian Just bouncing off your original idea :-)  I think this may also help
traditional courses, but will allow those organisers to gauge interest and
engage with participants from an earlier stage of development.

@Jessica yeah, it should encourage social cohesion from the beginning. Often
I think that what prevents people from participating is not being sure if
their learning idea is popular enough, or not knowing enough as an
individual to get started.
I like the idea of "proposed" as a status
